Mr. Tan Soo Cheong (Managing Partner) graduated from Multimedia University with an LL.B (Hons) degree in 2009. He read in the chambers of Messrs. A.B. Ng & Associates and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 11-06-2010. He then joined Messrs. N.M. Tiong & Co as a legal assistant, handling mainly conveyancing, banking, insurance claims, and civil litigation matters.
He has been practising for more than 15 years and has been handling mostly matters in relation to contracts, conveyancing and loan documentation, as well as matters relating to civil litigation.
He has been handling conventional loans as well as Islamic principle-based facilities such as Bai‘ Inah, Bai’ Bithaman Ajil, Ijarah, Murabahah Tawarruq, and Musharakah Mutanaqisah etc.

She has been practising for more than 14 years and has been handling mostly matters in relation to contracts, conveyancing, and loan documentation, as well as matters relating to civil litigation.

Ms. Tan Huey Khim (Karen) (Partner) graduated from the University of Malaya with an LL.B (Hons) degree in 2017. She read in the chambers of Messrs. Soo Thien Ming & Nashrah (Petaling Jaya office) and was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 17-08-2018, where she began her career in conveyancing and banking matters.
She later joined the Aset Kayamas Group as a Legal Executive, assisting in real estate development, tenancy, and tribunal-related matters. She then moved to ViTrox Corporation Berhad and its subsidiaries, where she independently managed corporate legal functions, including legal advisory, contract review, SOP setup, policy vetting, and M&A support.
In 2024, she broadened her professional experience through her work with PCW Law Limited in Auckland, New Zealand, gaining valuable cross-border exposure. She currently serves as a Partner at Messrs. Tan & Associates (Selangor office).
